GEORGE WHITEFIELD PROGRAM

The George Whitefield Program [GWP] is for men who believe they are called to full-time evangelistic work. It is conducting its first annual training the weekend of 13 - 15 October.

The training is designed to provide a foundation of fruitful practical tools to facilitate your perseverance in the work of an evangelist. These topics are covered: 

 

  • Ministry Partner Development [fundraising]
  • The theology of the evangelist [what does the Bible say about the office of evangelist]
  • Ministry life [becoming a man of prayer and the Word (Acts 6:4) and how the Bible teaches us to respond to the relationships in our life as an evangelist].
  • Expository preaching [conducted by preaching during the day in London]

 

Again, the training is for men who believe they are called to or are considering the work of evangelism full-time. This is not training in evangelism, that training is conducted through Sports Fan Outreach events, rather this is training for the administrative & personal aspects of ministry.

This training is required for men who are joining the GWP or men who want to learn the fundamentals of evangelistic life. The week includes the topics of fundraising, the theology of evangelism/Great Commission and ministry life.
