FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

SFOI FAQ 

  • Does the questionnaire on the registration page need to be completed for each event?  No. You register for your initial event where your profile is created on the SFOI site. When you want to participate in another event you simply log into your account and change the “event” for which you are attending.
  • Are deposits refundable? No. Once a deposit is paid it is not refundable.
  • Are events fees refundable? No. Once the registration is received and the entire fee paid it is not refundable.
  • Is staying at the outreach accommodations required? Yes, however, some accommodations are not suitable for men and women. The event page will specify if the accommodations are for men only and if that is the situation then that particular outreach is for men only.
  • Is participation in the entire outreach required? Yes. There is no partial participation. I.E. on a three day outreach you must be there for the entire three days.
  • Can I stay somewhere else other than the listed accommodations and just meet the group at the ministry location? No. Everyone stays at the same location, participates in the scheduled teaching and ministers together for the entire outreach as is listed o the event page.
  • Are tracts provided? At some events. It will posted on the event page.
  • Are Bibles provided? No. You bring your own Bible.
  • Is amplification allowed and if so what amperage? Yes. The amp level depends on the local city ordinance. This will be posted on the event page.
  • What is the dress code? Modest, casual and comfortable for men and women. For women modest means: no tight clothes and no cleavage showing. Short pants for men and women are discouraged.
  • Are men and women allowed to participate? Yes, however, if the accommodations are not suitable for men and women then a particular event may be for men only. The event page will state if this is the situation for the particular event.
  • Are women allowed to preach? No.
  • Are references required for each event? No. References are good for one year. Twelve months after their submission updated references are necessary.
  • Does ‘Hello Officer” have to be signed for each event? No. It is good for twelve months and after that it must be signed again.
  • Do ‘waivers’ need to be signed for each event? Yes.
